Beyond Hold'em ("the app") is a poker training app made by Prismity. This policy explains what we collect and why. Short version: we collect the minimum needed to run the app, we don't sell your data, and there's no real-money gambling anywhere in the product.
What we collect
Account: if you create an account, your email address (used only for sign-in codes and account management). Accounts are optional — the app works without one.
Learning progress: XP, streaks, badges, drill history, and practice-hand decisions, stored locally on your device and — if you sign in — synced to our servers (hosted on Supabase) so your progress follows you across devices.
Usage analytics: anonymous product events (screens viewed, lessons completed, hands played) via PostHog, used to improve the app. No gameplay data is tied to your identity beyond an internal ID.
Coaching: to generate coaching explanations, anonymized hand situations (cards and actions — never your email or identity) are processed by an AI service. Explanations are cached and shared across users.
What we don't do
No selling or sharing of personal data with advertisers.
No real-money gambling, deposits, or payouts — this is a training app.
No collection of contacts, location, photos, or anything beyond the list above.
Data deletion
You can delete your account and all synced data at any time inside the app (Profile → Delete account), or by emailing us. Local data can be cleared via Profile → Reset all progress or by uninstalling the app.
Service providers
We use Supabase (database & authentication), PostHog (analytics), and Anthropic (AI coaching text). Each processes only the data described above.
Children
The app is intended for users 17 and older and is not directed at children.
